SHA Welcomes New Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement and Outreach

Julie Pizzuti MPS ‘06 joined the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development in September as the new assistant director of alumni engagement and outreach. In this role, she will be responsible for developing new engagement programs for alumni and current students. She will also work closely with the national leadership and global chapters of the Cornell Hotel Society.

Before her recent move to Ithaca, Julie was director of product programs for the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the Council Product Sales programs. She created marketing materials, provided logistical support, and led volunteer management for 25,000 girl scouts and 11,000 adults.

Prior to the Girl Scouts, Julie was a marketing manager for Applegate Farms and a program educator for Cornell University Cooperative Extension in Binghamton.

Julie has her bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University. She earned a master’s of professional studies in community and rural development from Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
