Practice Credit Requirement
All SHA students are required to complete 800 hours of practical experience through work and internship opportunities. Students do not receive academic credit for these experiences. Many of our students complete this graduation requirement through opportunities obtained with companies who recruit at Cornell. SHA students are required to obtain a formal verification from their employer of their practice credit experiences. Employers may contact the career management team if they have questions about the Practice Credit graduation requirement.
Contact the career management team at email@example.com or 607.255.9393.
We are a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and expect all employers recruiting our students to abide by NACE’s Principles for Professional Practice for Career Services and Employment Professionals and Cornell Career Services Employer Policies and Procedures.
