Roger Ferguson, JR. Meets With Real Estate Students


Roger Ferguson, Jr., President and CEO of TIAA-CREF and former Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, met with a select group of real estate students in a roundtable discussion in October 2013 to offer his perspective of real estate as an investment and the impact of real estate in the U.S. and the global economy. Students asked Mr. Ferguson questions about the appointment of Janet Yellen to the Fed, the biggest difficulties in dealing with real estate in foreign countries, and the role of city planning in real estate industry as a whole, particularly in the context of China’s rapid development.
