Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Disabled Veterans

The Pillsbury Institute will host its second Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Disabled Veterans (EBV) program, September 28th through October 5th, 2013. EBV will provide a first-hand experiential training opportunity for disabled veterans from operation Enduring Freedom and operation Iraqi Freedom. With expenses covered entirely by sponsors, this year’s EBV will have a particular focus on the food and beverage industry. Launched in 2007, EBV now involves a consortium of eight universities. When EBV participants come to Cornell, they will be in Phase 2 of the program. During Phase 1, they will participate in an online self-study curriculum during which they develop their business concepts. At Cornell, they will learn the working parts of business ownership, through experiential workshops and through interaction with world-class entrepreneurs. Phase 3 of the program gives graduates ongoing technical assistance to launch their businesses. Learn more about the EBV program at Cornell.
