INBAM, Lisbon, Portugal

The CQ’s editors participated in the third conference of the International Network of Business and Management Journals (INBAM), held in Lisbon. In keeping with one of the goals of the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research, INBAM’s purpose is to encourage the submission of research papers from a broader set of international authors, and to improve the quality of those submissions by direct interaction between authors and editors before the papers are completed. The editors then invite selected authors to submit their best work to the CQ, to be considered in the regular double-blind review process. Professor Bruce Tracey, CQ’s editor, and Glenn Withiam, CHR Director of Publications, heard presentations from authors from such diverse locations as Finland, Slovenia, and South Africa, in addition to France, Hong Kong, Portugal, and Spain.
