15th Annual Labor & Employment Law Roundtable
This year was the 15th offering of the Labor & Employment Law Roundtable, presented by Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations with support from the Cornell Law School and ILR School. This roundtable continued to present a forum for industry and academe to address current issues regarding the industry’s labor and employment law.
Individual sessions addressed the following topics: (1) Arbitration after Epic; (2) Joint Employer – the latest wage and hour class actions against McDonald’s; (3) EEOC gets serious on religion, sexual orientation, and transgender issues; (4) Unions organization, the Seattle statute and the minimum wage.
