Building on this success, in 2004 Jumeirah Group became a member of Dubai Holding – a collection of leading Dubai-based businesses and projects – in line with a new phase of growth and development for the Group.
Mr. Stefan Leser joined Jumeirah Group from Swiss travel services provider Kuoni Travel Holding, the international travel Company, where he held executive management positions for more than 10 years. As a member of Kuoni’s Executive Board, he was most recently Executive Vice President of its outbound travel businesses covering the Nordics, UK, Benelux, India, China, Hong Kong as well as the home market, Switzerland. In addition, he was responsible for all inbound destination management specialist businesses.
Mr Leser has an MBA from Augusta University, Georgia.
