Ruby Huang ’97 is a Senior Vice President in Asset Management at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, she is focused on enhancing the asset value of the Firm’s select-service hotel platform by proactively managing operations and real estate to maximize net cash flow, and executing property improvement plans.

Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2012, Ms. Huang was Vice President of Asset Management for Och Ziff Real Estate, where she managed the firm’s full-service and select-service hotel portfolio. Before that, Ms. Huang was Vice President of Asset Management for HEI Hotels & Resorts, where she was responsible for the operational oversight of more than 30 full-service hotels. She previously held roles in hospitality investment and asset management with Tishman Hotel & Realty.

Ms. Huang received a B.S. degree in hotel management from Cornell University. She is currently a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association and has previously served as its President. She is actively involved in various hotel brand councils including Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, and Hampton Inn Brand Committees. She is also a member of the Marriott Capital Asset Planning and Execution Committee. Ms. Huang serves on the Board of Directors of InTown Suites and the Middlesex Club and is a Certified Hotel Asset Manager.
