Mark Chu '94

Mark Chu is a Managing Director at Eastdil Secured and Co-Head of Asia Pacific. Mr. Chu has over 25 years of real estate experience in the  North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Chu has been involved in many firsts in the real estate capital markets, including the development of the U.S.,  Singapore and Hong Kong REIT markets and the development of the gaming companies from the Asian region. In addition, Mr. Chu has been in several  of the largest real estate transactions globally in office, retail, industrial and lodging. Since joining Eastdil Secured, Mr. Chu has been involved in over  US$30 BN of real estate transactions. Prior to Eastdil Secured, Mr. Chu was the Director of Capital Markets at ARA Asset Management where his  responsibilities included capital raising and M&A within ARA’s public and private portfolio. Mr. Chu began his career as an associate in LaSalle Partners  from 1994 to 1997. Mr. Chu holds a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University
