Steven Swirsky, Member of the Firm, will present “State Tort Law and Liability Shields” during a webinar, “Employment Law Impact of COVID-19: Workplace Health & Safety and Issues of Dispute Resolution,” hosted by the NYU Center for Labor and Employment Law.

The current pandemic has raised new questions about the boundaries of employer obligations and employee rights regarding a safe workplace. How do we protect employee privacy and safety while also sustaining business and jobs during an economic crisis and expected COVID related lawsuits? In addition, employers and workers, like all litigants, are faced with how to best move claims to resolution in an increasingly virtual post-pandemic setting.
