On-Campus Recruiting

Each semester, companies from many hospitality industry segments send representatives to the Cornell Nolan School to recruit students for permanent and summer employment opportunities.

Financial service institutions, retailers, non-profit organizations, and other employers who are seeking graduates across a wider range of majors and degrees generally recruit through Cornell Career Services (CCS).

You can gain access to hospitality-specific companies, as well as those recruiting through CCS, by registering for our online system, Cornell Handshake.

When you apply for a position through Cornell Handshake or use the On-Campus Recruiting service, you agree to abide by CCS’s On-Campus Recruiting Policy.

Although you should not rely on On-Campus Recruiting as the only method to get a job, it is a good opportunity to interview with companies that have job opportunities you’re interested in. We encourage you to begin your company research early. Being knowledgeable about companies before interview sign-ups will help ensure that you will be interviewing with only those companies you are truly interested in.

Many companies attend one of our annual career fairs, host information sessions, and/or Atrium Showcases during their on-campus recruiting visit. You’ll find information on fair attendees and information sessions in Cornell Handshake.
