Recruiter Visits

Employers who are planning an on-campus visit to the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration will find extensive information below to help plan their trip.

Travel to and from Ithaca

We suggest that if your travel is further than a 4 hour drive from Ithaca, you should plan to fly or take a train. A list of the most popular airports and major city distances are detailed below. Those not flying into Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport (ITH) should make a rental car or taxi reservation before traveling. Rideshares (Uber, Lyft, etc.) will not pick up fairs that travel to the Ithaca area from Syracuse, Binghamton, Elmira, Rochester or any airport/travel depot that is more than 15 to 20 miles away.

Accommodations

The Statler Hotel and J. Williard Marriott Executive Education Center, part of the Nolan School, is located in the center of Cornell University. The Statler provides transportation to and from the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport.

Other accommodations—both in national chains and in local facilities, including B&Bs—are available nearby. Information is maintained by the Ithaca Tompkins Convention and Visitors Bureau. Several local hotels provide transportation to and from the airport, as well as to and from campus.

Parking on Campus

Visitor parking is very limited. If you choose to drive to campus, Parkmobile daily decision lots are available on-campus. The closest Parkmobile lot to Statler Hall is the 1st floor of Hoy Parking garage.
