Cheryl Boyer is the Chief Operating Officer of Fulcrum Hospitality, a boutique operating partner, asset manager, and transaction advisor in the lodging and gaming space. The firm has principal investments in hospitality assets, maintains acquisitions relationships with major investment banks and institutional private equity firms, and asset manages or advises on over 10,000 hotel rooms worldwide. Cheryl has over 25 years of experience in providing consulting and asset management to institutional investors, lenders and other key industry players. Previously, Cheryl was the President of Lodging Advisors, a highly regarded consulting practice with which Fulcrum maintains a strategic alliance. Cheryl has held senior leadership roles with PricewaterhoueCoopers’ Hospitality & Leisure financial advisory practice and Hotel Parnters, Inc., and has additional consulting experience with Landauer Associates and Laventhol & Horwath. Cheryl started her career in hotel operations working with InterContinental Hotels and Accor. Cheryl graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration in 1987.
Cheryl is a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association, Past President of WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, Past President of the WX Charitable Trust, a member of the Lodging Industry Investment Council, Immediate Past President of the Cornell Hotel Society, member of Cornell University Council, and membership chair of the President’s Council of Cornell Women. She has authored several articles on hospitality and finance topics and has been quoted in the trade and popular press. Cheryl has been a teacher at New York University’s Center for Hospitality Industry Studies and has been a guest lecturer at Cornell University. She has spoken at major real estate and hotel industry conferences including NYU Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, Americas Lodging Investment Summit, and the Lodging Conference.
