Geoff Hill joined Roark Capital Group in June of 2009. As a Managing Director at Roark, Geoff serves on the Investment Committee and is involved in the acquisition and portfolio management of the Firm’s restaurant and multi-unit investments. Roark Capital is a Private Equity Firm based in Atlanta, GA with $11 billion of capital under management. Since inception, Roark has acquired 61 multi-unit brands, which have generated $25 billion in annual system revenues from 28,000 locations in 50 states and 78 countries. Roark’s restaurant portfolio of 22 restaurant concepts, that collectively have more than 16,000 locations and $16 billion in system-wide revenues across 50 states and 68 countries, includes such brands as Arby’s, Auntie Anne’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carl’s Jr., Carvel Ice Cream, Cinnabon, Corner Bakery, Culver’s, Hardee’s, Il Fornaio, Jim N Nick’s BBQ, Jimmy John’s, McAlister’s Deli, Miller’s Ale House, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Naf Naf Grill, Schlotzsky’s, and Wingstop. Roark’s portfolio also includes brands such as Anytime Fitness, Atkins Nutritionals, Batteries Plus, Driven Brands, Massage Envy, Primrose Schools, and Pet Valu. Geoff currently serves on the boards of Jim N Nick’s, Miller’s Ale House, Naf Naf Grill and Massage Envy and is a past board member of Wingstop.
Prior to joining Roark, Geoff was the President of Cinnabon which is part of FOCUS Brands, a Roark owned company. In 2011, Geoff was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Restaurant Association, where he serves on the Executive Committee. Geoff is also a member of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Board of Trustees and currently holds the position of Vice Chairman.
Geoff attended the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration where he graduated in 1992 with a major in Hospitality marketing and operations. At Cornell, Geoff played on the Varsity Football team which won the Ivy League Championship in 1990.
Geoff currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife Allison and daughters Chauncey (16) and Cristina (14).
