Speaker: Lindsey Brous Gitlin ’12, Owner & President

Lindsey grew up in the hospitality industry, working at her family business, Collegetown Bagels (CTB), from the age of eight. Lindsey attended Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration focusing on food and beverage operations.
Upon graduation, Lindsey worked for Avero, LLC—a restaurant analytics and software company in New York City. At Avero, Lindsey oversaw the expansion of the company’s new business development department including starting its indirect sales channel. She also implemented all aspects of the company’s strategic deals as director of business development.
Following her work at Avero, Lindsey joined the Boston Consulting Group. She worked in the retail and telecommunications practice areas. Lindsey specifically worked on developing and implementing strategy relating to, among other things, cost savings, supply chain management, vendor negotiations, labor efficiency analysis, and merchandising.
Lindsey is thrilled to be back in Ithaca working for her family business, CTB. Lindsey has overseen the company’s expansion to Syracuse, New York, and she is continuing to focus on positioning the company for long term stability and growth to additional markets.
In addition to studying at the Hotel School, Lindsey received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
