Speaker: Abigail Charpentier ’95, Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resource Officer

Abigail joined Aramark in the management training program after earning her degree from Cornell University in 1995. She progressed through a variety of HR and operational positions in different lines of business until 2018, when she briefly left the company for an opportunity with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. After spending almost three years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as the Vice President of People & Culture for the Americas, Abigail returned to Aramark as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity. In this role she led the HR functions for all the U.S. Food & Facilities businesses.
In January 2023, Abigail was named Aramark’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she leads wide-ranging human resources functions across Aramark’s global operations, and is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, labor relations, Board matters, and other issues that affect the company’s 270,000 employees. In her view, HR is a business enabler and should always support overall company growth while building high-performing teams. Abigail is committed to engaging employees, developing talent strategy, and driving a people-first culture.
Over the course of her tenure at Aramark, she has held several roles in both Human Resources and Operations, including positions across Aramark’s key lines of business such as, Conference Centers, Leisure, Sports & Entertainment, Corrections, K-12, and Higher Education.

Abigail is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration. She, her husband, Jean-Luc, and their children reside in Devon, Pennsylvania.
