Rick Werber is SVP, Engineering and Sustainability for Host Hotels & Resorts. Rick focuses on strategic capital infrastructure planning and execution, asset recycling, and value creation through responsible investment and environmental stewardship for the largest lodging real estate investment trust (REIT). Prior to joining Host in 2009, Rick held a variety of corporate and operational leadership positions with Marriott International, Sodexo, and Sunrise Senior Living in the hospitality, health care, and senior housing sectors. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where he serves on the Center for Hospitality Research Advisory Board.
