Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a leading global hospitality company with a portfolio of 13 brands and 698 properties in 56 countries. The company was founded in 1957 when Jay Pritzker purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. Family-owned Hyatt Hotel Corporation has grown to an international hotel management and ownership company whose name is synonymous with hospitality.

As Global President of Operations for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Mr. Chuck Floyd is responsible for leading and developing the company’s Global Operations Center. This includes P&L responsibility for three business units around the World; ensuring the operating efficiency in the rollout of new innovations; unifying the company’s global operations; and overseeing the company’s information technology resources, worldwide sales organization, and call centers.

Mr. Floyd has been with Hyatt Hotel Corporations for 36 years, serving in a number of senior leadership positions, including executive vice president of North America operations and senior vice president of sales, as well as various managing director and general manager roles. He has diverse experience in sales, human resources, product and design, rooms, food and beverage, and engineering.

Mr. Floyd is a graduate of Florida State University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
