Rebecca Lee ’02 is the current Global President of the Cornell Hotel Society (“CHS”). CHS is an independent and self-funded volunteer organization that mainly serves the Cornell Hotel School alumni community around the world. With almost 60 chapters globally and 97 years of history, CHS organizes over 100 events a year, engaging Hotelies around the world to raise scholarship funds and support the students of the Nolan Hotel School.

A ‘Hotelie for Life’ – Rebecca is a proud graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and continues to stay actively involved in Cornell alumni volunteer work. She began such activities as a volunteer for the Cornell Club of Korea immediately upon graduation, and upon moving to Hong Kong in 2005, she served as Chapter President of CHS Hong Kong, CHS Regional Vice President and a board member of the Cornell Club of Hong Kong, and continued her work with the CHS Global Board from 2022 until now. She currently serves as a trustee of the Cornell Hotel Society Foundation, a member of the Cornell University Council and a member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women, as well as a student mentor for the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Professionally, Rebecca is the Assistant Senior Vice President – Hospitality Development, HLDS at Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), a Hong Kong-listed company. Based in Hong Kong, her core focus at GEG is to develop an exclusive luxury lifestyle portfolio – encompassing hospitality products including hotels/resorts and recreational entertainment, and lifestyle & wellness. Rebecca is responsible for development strategy and planning, and leads contract negotiations and portfolio management. With her strong passion for supporting the hospitality industry, she has guest lectured at various educational institutions and continues to participate in hospitality conferences as guest speaker, panelist and planning committee member.
