As Chief Human Resources Officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Matt Krystofiak brings more than two decades of human resources executive leadership experience, specializing in the hospitality and gaming industry. In his role, Matt is responsible for overseeing the people, culture, and strategic initiatives that align with the overall business objectives and cohesive vision of The Venetian Resort, which has resulted in record performance in engagement, guest service, and EBITDA for the property.
Throughout his career, Matt has excelled in labor relations, overseeing the HR strategies for some of the most iconic properties on the Las Vegas Strip. His leadership has been pivotal in fostering collaborative work environments and supporting operational goals, while balancing the needs of the workforce with the strategic objectives of the business, making Matt a respected figure in the human resources and labor relations field. He has also honed his expertise in budgeting, talent management, operations management, and risk management, making him an integral part of the organizational performance success of the property, while fostering a thriving workplace culture.
Matt has a passion for building and nurturing teams to reach their full potential and encouraging and developing a culture where people feel valued and celebrated for their unique qualities every day.
Prior to joining The Venetian Resort, Matt enjoyed an exciting career with Caesars Entertainment, where he held change-making leadership roles, including senior vice president of human resources operations, further solidifying his expertise in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from the University of Nevada, Reno. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, son, who is a huge history buff, and two daughters, who share a passion for music, notably Taylor Swift.
