Mark Wolman is a principal and director of Waterford Group, a leading hospitality company specializing in the development, ownership, and management of hotel and gaming venue projects. Waterford Hotel Group is an affiliate of Waterford Group. Mark has more than 30 years of experience in land development, residential and commercial construction, and hospitality development and operations, as well as asset management. In his role with Waterford, Mark has been integrally involved in the development and supervision of projects totaling more than $3 billion. Waterford has successfully owned or operated more than 80 hotels and convention centers, ranging from small to large, and including both independent and virtually all major national brands. Notable projects include the world-renowned Mohegan Sun; the Front Street District, a $775 million mixed-use development in Hartford, Connecticut; and numerous Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood branded hotels throughout the United States.
Mark has earned several statewide and national distinctions, including being honored as the Connecticut Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association. Mark, a native of South Africa, holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pretoria.
