Greg Talbot is the senior vice president and associate general counsel–labor, employment, and benefits for Marriott International, Inc. Greg is responsible for managing the law department’s labor, employment, and benefits group attorneys, partnering with the company’s human resources and labor relations executives on human resources and labor strategy, and providing counsel and advice to the company’s senior leaders on a broad range of labor and employment issues. Greg also is responsible for negotiating the company’s collective bargaining agreements and assisting managers with the administration of these agreements.
Prior to joining Marriott in 2011, Greg was a partner in the labor and employment law practice group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, where he counseled employers on labor and employment law issues in a variety of industries and represented clients in federal and state courts, as well as in proceedings before the NLRB. Greg joined Morgan Lewis as an associate in 1998, following a clerkship with the Honorable Michael D. Mason in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Before practicing law, Greg served as the director of admissions and financial aid, taught history, and coached baseball at Gonzaga College High School, in Washington, D.C., from 1990-1997.
After graduating from The University of Notre Dame, Greg received his JD from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
