Ashwin Kamlani is the CEO of JUICER, introducing dynamic pricing to the restaurant industry. He began the Masters of Management in Hospitality (MMH) program in September, 2001 just as 9/11 had a devastating effect on the hospitality industry. He worked closely with Meliá Hotels and Resorts throughout his Masters program and joined full-time immediately thereafter, playing a key role in the digital transformation that helped the company recover after 9/11.
He then built his own company, Regatta Travel Solutions, which helped smaller hotel groups build a successful direct digital strategy, implementing unique revenue management tactics to increase conversions and revenue. Regatta created one of the most innovative online reservations platforms in the industry, and was acquired by Kognitiv in August 2016.
The restaurant industry is now experiencing many of the same things that the hotel industry experienced 20 years ago. After the rapid rise of 3rd party delivery companies, a sudden influx of technology providers, and inflationary effects on labor and food cost, JUICER was launched in October 2021 to help restaurants effortlessly implement dynamic pricing and become more profitable.
