We have heard from a broad range of Republicans and Democrats from the House and Senate. We’ve discussed the congressional response to the pandemic so far, how it is affecting the lawmakers’ own states and communities, and what other actions they believe are necessary.

A return to normalcy may still seem far away, but signs of hope are beginning to emerge. Congress is exploring additional measures to boost the economy as we look ahead to reopening certain segments. Please join us on Tuesday, May 19, as we hear from U.S. Senator John Barrasso, R-Wyo., who is serving in his third term and is the third-ranking Republican in Senate leadership. Barrasso is chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, and also serves on the Foreign Relations Committee, the Indian Affairs Committee and the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Known by many as “Wyoming’s Doctor,” he practiced as an orthopedic surgeon for 24 years and was president of the Wyoming Medical Society.
