CIHF - Roundtable: Design for Mental Health - Exploring the Future of Tech, Place, and Programs
March 21 - March 22
2024 Roundtable “Design for Mental Health: Exploring the Future of Tech, Place, and Programs”
Presented by the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures (CIHF), a collaboration between the School of Hotel Administration and the College of Human Ecology’s Department of Human Centered Design, and HKS, Inc.
With the growing global mental health crisis, this event is dedicated to fostering insightful discussions, exploring innovative approaches, and understanding the evolving landscape of mental wellness in our community. We will bring together diverse perspectives exploring the future of design for mental health through the lens of programs, place, and tech. We will break down silos, charting a transdisciplinary path forward to cultivate meaningful change and provide a context for future design and research.
This year’s roundtable will take place on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Statler Hotel, Ithaca NY. We will begin with a welcome reception from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. The following day, Friday, March 22, will include a full day of roundtable discussions concluding by 3:00 p.m. Each segment will be led by industry practitioners and research academics to help guide the discussion of what we envision the future to look like. We hope that our participant mix of executives, educators, and students will stimulate engaging and valuable discussion.
Please register to attend at CIHF Roundtable Guest Registration by Monday, March.
