Mark S. Weiss joined Cushman & Wakefield as an executive vice chairman in January 2016, having established himself as a leading commercial broker/advisor/tactician within the real estate industry. His range of experience and expertise includes successfully completing some of New York City’s most noteworthy and complex transactions in leasing, sales and development.

With 33 years of experience in commercial real estate, Weiss has completed more than 1,600 transactions constituting a broad range of sizes, scope, and innovation. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Weiss worked at Olympia and York, the Edward S. Gordon Company, Studley, and most recently, Newmark Knight Frank. Weiss is also a published author, having written an acclaimed book on the impact of breast cancer on the spouse of a breast cancer patient. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and three children.
