Uwe Christiansen ’75 SHA Discretionary Fund

After graduation, Uwe Christiansen became a VP, project development, with the largest club operator in Asia and was involved mostly in the development of golf and country club operations and boutique hotels. He then moved on to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, becoming Executive Advisor with a strategy consulting firm, where he worked with clients in Oman and other Persian Gulf states. One observation that he made in this practice is that hospitality, engineering, and project development skills are essential. He was pleased to create the discretionary fund that bears his name to benefit CREF and to support the students in the Real Estate Minor.
