From the Director

Michael C. Sturman

As of June 30, my term as director of the Center for Hospitality Research will come to an end. I want to take the opportunity to thank the CHR Advisory Board, as well as all the contributors, readers, and participants of the CHR who have been so supportive over the past three years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the CHR’s director, and I appreciate all the support that the CHR has received that has made it so successful.

I also want to take the opportunity to welcome and congratulate Professor Chris Anderson, who will be taking over as the CHR’s director. Chris, an associate professor of operations management, has been with the School of Hotel Administration’s faculty since 2006, and brings a lot of great industry experience and knowledge to the role. I wish Chris the best of luck in his new role.

It has truly been an honor and privilege to work with the CHR over the past three years, and I will miss the role very much. I hope the entire CHR community will continue to provide Chris with the sort of great assistance, feedback, and support that made my term as director so fulfilling and enjoyable.
