An interview is not a required component of the School of Hotel Administration's undergraduate admissions process, although applicants may request an optional interview. Applications to the Hotel School will be considered complete with or without the interview.
A limited number of on-campus interviews will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on select Fridays during the fall semester only. On-campus interviews will be conducted by Hotel School Ambassadors. There will be no waiting lists and cancellations will not be rescheduled.
Applicants who are interested in interviewing but are unable to visit campus may request an off-campus interview offered by a Hotel School alumnus. These interviews are conducted in person or virtually and applicants are contacted directly by a Hotel School alumnus. Off-campus interviews are available during the fall and spring semesters.
Although we try to arrange interviews with as many applicants as we can, it ultimately depends upon the availability of our Hotel School alumni volunteers. If it is not possible to arrange an off-campus interview, rest assured that it will not negatively impact your application.
