You'll learn these tools and implementation strategies from SHA faculty and staff, and from senior industry executives who visit campus throughout the year. You'll have numerous opportunities to start dialogues and conduct informational interviews with industry professionals to hone the networking process that helps build a successful career.
Attendance at professional development sessions is required. Sessions are held throughout the academic year and range from resume and cover letter writing to developing job search strategies to roundtable discussions with visiting hospitality executives. In addition, you'll have ungraded assignments that help you develop your skills, articulate your experiences and goals, and successfully prepare for your career search.
