Statler Hotel's Taverna Banfi donates to earthquake relief effort

Wine Barrels

On August 24, an earthquake struck central Italy. Nearly 300 people were killed and hundreds more wounded as a result of the devastating 6.2-magnitude quake.

For the month of October, the Statler Hotel's Taverna Banfi has been donating $5 for every bottle and $1 for every glass of wine from their Banfi portfolio to the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF).

Through its efforts, Taverna Banfi joins many other fine restaurants in Italy and the U.S. that have contributed to the relief effort.
