Online Certificate in Financial Management

As a non-financial manager you need to be able to interpret and discuss the financial activities within your organization in order to make informed decisions. While the finance managers may be responsible for making specific financial decisions at your firm, your ability to understand, analyze, and communicate financial data is crucial to your long-term success. In this interactive online series from Cornell, you will study the conceptual frameworks necessary to effectively articulate project and investment proposals to decision-makers, as well as gaining the ability to review and discuss proposals with your organization’s financial managers. Case studies are used to bring the material to life in fun, engaging ways, and to ensure that the information can be readily adapted to meet your specific organizational challenges.

This certificate consists of the following six, two-week courses, and is powered by eCornell:

Courses are authored by: Steven Carvell, PhD, professor and associate dean for academic affairs, School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University; and Scott Gibson, PhD, professor of finance and J.E. Zollinger Term Professor, College of William & Mary School of Business.

Registrations are being accepted now for all courses. All courses are delivered online using eCornell’s Structured Flexibility delivery methodology. Each course requires six to seven hours of learning time over a two-week period, and is facilitated by an instructor to ensure mastery of content and successful application back into the workplace.
