The Hersha Group and the Cornell School of Hotel Administration have formed a partnership and, together, will be implementing the institutional sustainability program, EarthView, at the Statler Hotel, the renowned teaching hotel for students at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, this spring. Students and professional hotel associates from the Statler will collaborate with Hersha's EarthView team to implement projects and initiatives as part of a comprehensive sustainability program to be rolled out at the property, giving the students the opportunity for a direct hands-on-experience.

The Statler chose to implement the EarthView program because of this unique approach to sustainbility, which couples rigrous financial and environmental analysis with meaningful triple-bottom line outcomes. Through this partnership with EarthView, the Statler will gain the tools needed to conduct financial analysis to aid the hotel in implementing a formal sustainability program in the long run.
