Fox Rothschild LLP Renews Partnership with the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research
Industry leading law firm is active in many CHR programs
Ithaca, NY, February 1, 2011 – New York-based law firm Fox Rothschild LLP has renewed its partnership with the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research (CHR)—continuing its active support of the CHR's efforts to share valuable and useful information with the hospitality industry. Carolyn Richmond, Partner and National Co-Chair, Hospitality Practice, will continue as a member of the CHR advisory board. In announcing the renewal, Professor Rohit Verma, CHR executive director, said he was delighted to see this active partner renew the relationship.

Under Richmond's leadership, Fox Rothschild has participated in roundtable panels, CHR publications, and the recent Cornell Hospitality Research Summit, as well as the CHR advisory board. Additionally, she will be a panelist in the upcoming "Hot Topics in Labor and Employment Law" plenary session at the April 2011 HR in Hospitality Conference, in Washington, D.C.

"The CHR is a tremendous source of information for the hospitality industry," Richmond said. "Our firm represents numerous hotels, casinos and restaurants with regard to their legal and regulatory issues. I have seen first-hand that sharing knowledge and education is the best way to help industry leaders develop effective and appropriate policies and plans to guide their organizations through these changing times. I am pleased to participate in this effort."
"Fox Rothschild and Carolyn Richmond have provided considerable support for the CHR," said Jennifer Macera, CHR associate director. "Not only has Fox Rothschild supported the center financially, but their contributions of time, information, and intellectual energy are extremely valuable and most appreciated."
