Entrepreneur Matt Russo to speak at Cornell School of Hotel Administration

Entrepreneur and corporate executive Matt Russo will talk about his professional journey next Tuesday, March 30, as the featured speaker in the Conversations with Entrepreneurs series presented by the Leland C. and Mary M. Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship at Cornell University. Russo will present from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. in 198 Statler Hall. He will dine with selected students after the event and meet with students, staff, and faculty the next day.

Russo has built a dynamic career path, first embarking on an entrepreneurial venture in the wine industry and later thriving in the personal wealth accumulation field. He is currently managing partner of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, overseeing the firm’s midtown Manhattan network office of more than 100 financial representatives.

Earlier, Russo held management positions with major restaurant associations. He also was employed by a wholesaler of fine wines, one of the largest spirit purveyors in New England.

Russo holds a BS degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
