WATG | Wimberly Interiors named Title supporter of 8th Annual Cornell Hospitality Icon and Innovator Awards

Ithaca, NY, May 9, 2016 - The School of Hotel Administration (SHA) at Cornell University has announced that that international design and innovation firm WATG | Wimberly Interiors will be the title supporter of the 8th Annual Cornell Hospitality Icon and Innovator Awards on June 7, 2016, at 583 Park Ave in New York City. At this premier fundraising event, Peter Greenberg, travel editor for CBS News, will serve as master of ceremonies, helping to honor Isadore Sharp, founder and chairman of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, recipient of the Cornell Icon of the Industry Award; and Ted Teng '79, president and CEO of The Leading Hotels of the World, recipient of the Cornell Hospitality Innovator Award.

Since its inception in 2009, the Cornell Hospitality Icon and Innovator Awards has grown to be the largest event on the SHA calendar, attracting more than 700 of the most influential leaders and innovators in the hospitality and travel industry from 17 countries. The event raises funds to support SHA's scholarships and programs.
