DerbySoft Becomes Corporate Member of Center for Hospitality Research

DerbySoft, a company focusing on global distribution networks for the hospitality industry, has joined the Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) as a new corporate member. Dario Gonzalez, DerbySoft’s vice president of enterprise architecture, will join the CHR’s advisory board for its next meeting in March 2016 at the School of Hotel Administration (SHA). He also plans to participate in the SHA technology entrepreneurship roundtable, set for April 2016. All CHR corporate members have a seat at the school’s invitation-only roundtables.

“We are glad to welcome DerbySoft as a corporate member, and we extend our appreciation to Dario Gonzalez, who has hit the ground running by attending both our advisory board meeting and upcoming roundtable,” said CHR Director and Associate Dean Michael Sturman, The Kenneth and Marjorie Blanchard Professor of Human Resources at SHA. Advisory board members assist the center in setting its research goals and by sharing current industry concerns.

“CHR has been and continues to be an important resource for the hospitality industry,” said Gonzalez. “I look forward to working with SHA faculty researchers and other advisory board members.”

About DerbySoft
DerbySoft is a global technology company serving hotel companies and the hospitality distribution industry since 2002. The company continues to develop the next generation of online hotel distribution infrastructure: a fair, effective, and enterprise-independent global distribution network (GDN) that enables travel products suppliers, distributors, and search engines to connect with each other while maintaining their own business models, connectivity preferences, and data logic; this network also enables various management functions and other value-added services for its participants. In addition to its core connectivity service, DerbySoft offers its powerful MetaSearch Manager tool suite and other services geared to hotels.

DerbySoft's supply side partners include all of the top ten global hotel groups and leading third party Central Reservations Systems, smaller regional chains in Europe and China, and about one thousand Chinese independent properties that connect directly to DerbySoft's platform. On the demand side, nearly all of the world's leading online travel agencies, all of the major metasearch engines, and all of the largest wholesalers work with DerbySoft.
