4th Annual Labor Relations Roundtable

Event Image
February 19, 2016 All day

The National Labor Relations Board’s Browning-Ferris Industries decision headlined the fourth annual CIHLER labor relations roundtable, held in Boca Raton, Florida. The decision has caused an earthquake in the definition of who is an employer, and opens the door for both franchisors and franchisees to be considered joint employers of individual restaurant employees. CIHLER director David Sherwyn chaired the roundtable, which also included an update on union hospitality elections and an analysis of problem provisions in area agreements.
