Over the past year, the center has welcomed a number of new board members to the organization. We welcome the following members to the CREF board.

Marty Burger P '17 Marty Burger, P ’17, Chief Executive Officer, Silverstein Properties

Marty Burger is chief executive officer of Silverstein Properties, Inc., where he leads the company’s day-to-day activities, and focuses on its acquisition, development, and financing efforts in the United States and abroad. Burger has participated as a judge in the CIRECC for the past two years.

Ken Himmel, ’70, President and CEO, Related Urban

Kenneth A. Himmel is president and chief executive officer of Related Urban, the nation’s leading developer of large-scale mixed-use properties. Related Urban, formed in 1997, is the mixed-use development division of Related Companies. Himmel was featured in the Spring 2016 issue of Hotelie magazine.

 


Chuck Rosenzweig '85 JD '88

Chuck Rosenzweig, ’85, JD ’88, Founder and Managing Partner, Criterion Real Estate Capital

During his twenty-eight years of commercial real estate and capital markets experience, Chuck Rosenzweig has focused on principal investments (debt and equity) for all asset classes of commercial real estate. Rosenzweig is the founder and managing partner of Criterion Real Estate Capital, a NYC-based investment company focused on high-yield debt, preferred equity, and common equity investments in commercial real estate, with a focus on properties in gateway cities. Rosenzweig has also served as a judge in the CIRECC for many years.
